Parag Brahmbhatt, MD, FACP, FACG is a practicing gastroenterologist and Division Chief of Gastroenterology at Eagle Gastroenterology in Greensboro, North Carolina. He completed his internal medicine residency and gastroenterology fellowship at East Tennessee State University. He is the founder and CEO of PrepX Medical, Inc. and the creator of Prep Navigator.
Prep Navigator came out of his own practice. Colonoscopy preparation begins days before the procedure and involves prescriptions, medication holds, diet changes, clearances and timed instructions — most of it happening at home, out of the care team’s view. When something goes wrong, staff usually find out on the morning of the procedure, when there is no time left to fix it.
He built Prep Navigator so the care team can see where every patient is in that process, and act while there is still time.
Alongside his clinical work, he serves on the board of Eagle Physicians and its finance and compensation committees, is a trustee of the Gold Coin Foundation, and is the founder of Apeiron X, through which he invests in and develops early-stage ventures across healthcare, technology and real estate.
